We may “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined by certain state privacy laws through the use of cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may opt out as described below.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and for legitimate business interests. Specific retention periods vary by data type and context. For biometric information, see our Biometric
Information Policy, below. We do not use biometric identifiers for any other purpose, including general advertising or profiling, and we do not use them to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information about children under 18 without verifiable parental consent. Event Producers are solely responsible for obtaining and documenting all required parental or guardian consents for minors depicted or recorded in events and for providing required notices to parents. For mobile app users, confirmation of parental consent is separately required. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18 without required consent, we will delete it. Parents may contact us at youth-privacy@jumpscoreofficial.com to review, delete, or withdraw consent for their child’s information.
We do not knowingly serve targeted or behavioral advertising based on a minor's appearance in, or association with, event content, and we do not sell or share (as those terms are defined under applicable state law) personal information we associate with a known minor.
Biometric Information
We will provide clear notice and obtain consent where required by law to obtain and use biometric identifiers and related information. The use of such biometric data will be limited to the uses identified at collection and will not sell the same unless otherwise permitted by law. We use a higher standard of data protection for biometric data, including encryption at rest and in transit. You may withdraw consent by disabling the feature or contacting us at privacy@jumpscoreofficial.com. If auto-tagging is enabled, then facial templates will be generated and recorded, but we do not maintain other types of biometric identifiers such as voiceprints or fingerprints.
Auto-tagging requires opt-in written consent:
For minor athletes: from a parent or legal guardian, obtained by the Event Producer or us.
For adults: from the individual directly, through the account or event registration flow.
Biometric data is retained for only as long as reasonably necessary. Unless a shorter period applies or is requested by the data subject or guardian, we permanently destroy each facial-geometry template on the earlier of:
one year after the purpose for collecting it has been satisfied (e.g., the season or event archive period ends, consistent with Texas’s Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act’s “reasonable time, not to exceed one year” standard); or
three years after the individual's last interaction with the services giving rise to the collection (consistent with Illinois’ Biometric Information Privacy Act's default maximum retention period); or
the date we receive a valid deletion request from the data subject, or, for a minor, the minor's parent or legal guardian.
Biometric data is maintained as part of our retention schedules and are permanently deleted in accordance with the same. Biometric data is only disclosed with your consent, to process the data for auto-tagging or a transaction for which you request, with confidentiality obligations at least as restrictive as our policy, or to law enforcement in accordance with law. Illinois affords a private right of action for a violation of these provisions.
